What is ‘Tarik Member, Dapat Untung’ challenge?
‘Tarik Member, Dapat Untung’ is a referral campaign consisting of the Leaderboard Challenge and First Referral Challenge that rewards exciting prizes such as smartphones, accessories, Boost credit and more. It’s a small way for us to thank you for your efforts in introducing Yoodo to more people.
What is the difference between the Leaderboard Challenge and First Referral Challenge?
The Leaderboard Challenge ranks the number of successful referrals made by each user throughout the month. The more you refer, the higher you go up the leaderboard. At the end of every month, the top 10 referrers will receive prizes.
The First Referral Challenge is a campaign to encourage existing subscribers who do not have any referrals prior to the commencement of this Challenge to make their first referral. Three (3) monthly winners will be randomly selected.
How long will this Challenge run?
This Challenge will run from 1 to 31 July 2020.
Who can be a referrer?
The Leaderboard Challenge is open to any active Yoodo customers, meanwhile the First Referral Challenge is only open to active Yoodo customers who have no referrals prior to this Challenge.
Referrers who don’t have an active plan will lose his/her entitlement to the rewards. An active referrer is defined as someone who has at least one line with an active plan.
What is considered a valid referral for this Challenge? Who can be a referral?

I am an existing Yoodo customer, so how do I start? Where can I find my referral code?

If I am not an existing Yoodo customer, can I participate in this Challenge?
You can only refer if you are an active Yoodo customer. Each Yoodo customer is assigned with a unique referral code so that we know who to attribute the referral to.
I’m a Mobile Number Portability (MNP) customer, am I eligible to participate?
After porting your existing number to Yoodo, get your referral code from your Yoodo app > Invite friends and then share the referral code with your friend. Your friend must apply your referral code at the ‘Have a promo code’ field and spend at least RM20 during his/her SIM activation.
I am a tourist and plan to use Yoodo during my holiday in Malaysia. Can I participate in this Challenge?
To qualify, you must be a Malaysian citizen or have a long term stay visa to reside in Malaysia.
Can I refer if I haven’t activated my SIM card yet?
Hold tight! You’ll find your referral code in your Yoodo app dashboard only after your SIM card is activated. We are unable to track referrals back to your account if they didn’t use your referral code.
Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer for this Challenge?
You can refer as many friends as you want within the challenge period. After each Challenge month ended, your count of referrals will reset.
Where am I allowed to share my referral code?
Spamming is strictly not allowed. Spamming is where the referrer repeatedly posts their referral code with no intent or positive value other than to disseminate their referral code. This includes but is not limited to posting referral codes on the Yoodo Facebook Page, Instagram, Twitter and any other third-party website or page of which the referrer is not an owner of. The referrer cannot incentivize others to use his/her referral code.
What do my friend needs to do when he/she has received my referral code?
Your friend will need to order and activate their SIM using your referral code.
How can I tell if a friend has used my referral code? Is there a way for me to track my total referrals?
When someone signs up using your referral code, you will receive an email notification from us. You will not be able to see who the referral is, but you can count your referrals by keeping track of these email notifications.
My friend forgot to use my referral code. Is there a way to attribute it back to my account? Can my friend still apply my referral code after his/her SIM is activated?
We are unable to attribute referrals back to your account if they didn’t use your referral code. To be eligible for the referral reward, your friend must activate his/her SIM using your referral code. If your friend activated an account without inserting the code you have shared, he/she will no longer be able to re-insert the referral code.
If I have previous valid referrals, could they be considered for this Challenge?
Please note that the official launch date of the ‘Tarik Member, Dapat Untung’ was 1 July 2020, therefore any referrals made before this launch date are not eligible for this Challenge.
I have successfully referred my friend, but why is my referral count not going up?
The rankings are only refreshed at the end of each week. This number may not fully reflect the final referral numbers.
What happens if my referral becomes inactive or terminates his/her Yoodo line during this Challenge?
The person you refer will need to remain an active user of Yoodo until the winners of the campaign are announced for his/her signup to be counted as your referral.
What happened if there is a tie for the Leaderboard Challenge?
If there are 2 customers with the same number of referrals, we will look at the time that the latest referral activated his/her SIM card to determine the winner.
I have just been referred, can I refer another friend?
Of course, you can! You can start introducing other friends right away once you have become an active user.
If the number I am using is not registered under my name, who will be the winner?
The winner must be the registered owner of the chosen Yoodo number.
How are winners announced?
The list of winners will be posted on the Yoodo website within 30 days after the end of each Challenge period. We will contact the winners by email with a form to request for their delivery details. Winners who do not respond within one (1) month from the date of notification will be deemed to have forfeited their prize.
If I am one of the winners, can I change the prize?
The prizes are not exchangeable and unreturnable. At all times, the prizes and their colours are subject to stock availability.
If I am one of the winners, how will I get my prize?
We’ll deliver the prize to you by postal service. However, we are unable to ship the prizes to PO Box. Allow 8 – 12 weeks for delivery of prizes after the end of each Challenge period.
